One of the most talked-about political figures in the country just can’t stop sharing his blessings with his fellowmen.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno donated at least P5 million worth of his talent fee to the qua
ke-stricken people of Cotabato as confirmed by the Philippine capital’s public affairs office last Friday.
The P5 million donation comprised of P3 million talent fee from Pascual Laboratories and P2 million from his Belo Medical Group endorsement.
Three major tremors hit Cotabato in October plus hundreds of aftershocks. This has left a significant number of residents homeless and also resulted in food and water shortage, with some establishments unable to operate due to unsafe building conditions. Jobs were also destabilized for some.
This isn’t the first time the mayor donated his talent fee. Just recently, on October 30, Mayor Isko met with the key personalities of the Philippine General Hospital to share his talent fee endorsements from Jag Jeans (P1M) Kenny Rogers(P1M), and Seattle’s Best (P1M), Marie France (P1M) and Svenson (P2M).
Domagoso said he accepted endorsement contracts so that he can donate money to the hospital to help sick children.
Apparently, the mayor is starting to become a favorite target endorser of companies due to his good governance, humble nature, and a popular story of how he was able to bring himself up from a hard life in the past.
On behalf of all Cotabateños, thank you so much for your kind heart. Yorme. May you always be in God’s guidance to continue leading the people towards prosperity.
