“I would like to apologize on her behalf, but there is a medical emergency that we have to attend to. I am so sorry,” he explained.

Before the incident, ABS CBN reporter Mario Dumawal interviewed Amon and Alo.  The topic touched on her participation in the concert and her tips to Kiel as a new artist.  Mario also asked about her relationship with her family.  And Morissette kept on emphasizing that she continues to pray for them.

“Lagi na lang din po ako nagdadasal. Kung ano ang ma-control ko, that’s the most that we can do. Si Lord na po ang bahala sa iba,” she said.  That interview was later posted by ABS CBN and it seemed the two singers had fun in the conversation. However, the singer reportedly broke down in tears afterwards, banged her forehead on the wall and said she could not sing.

Right after David Cosico  “made an excuse” onstage, Jobert Sucaldito, the producer grabbed the mic and started talking.

“Ang gusto ko lang makita ng tao because, as a producer, ayokong magmukhang niloko ko kayo,” he said. Jobert requested for the singer to show up just to let people see that she came. She was seen walking from one corner going to the backstage but she never faced the audience. This has frustrated the veteran producer and he felt disrespected.

Jobert emotionally revealed to the press after the concert that Morissette felt she was ‘attacked’ by the media, by the interview.  However, in this industry he believes that a star should be resilient amidst problems.

“Kung artist ka, the show must go on. Lahat naman tayo may mga problema, pinagdadaanan sa buhay. We have even worse. Iba nga namamatayan nagso-show, kasi may commitment ka eh,” he added.

Meanwhile, Morissette has not yet delivered any official statement regarding her being ‘unprofessional’.
