Sharing a beautiful memory, actress Lucy Torres has moved a lot of hearts online, from ordinary people to her fellow celebrities — to the point that she was even asked to write a book where she can share touching stories like the one she posted.
On Instagram, Lucy shared that because of her green eyeliner, she remembered a “bad boy” who turned into a “charming, funny, and perfect gentleman” one night.
“He was the quintessential b
ad boy, with a reputation that preceded him. Da nger, they all said. He looked it (you know the type—good-looking in a handsome and very manly way), moved it (one who would say “let’s go” instead of timidly trying to find the perfect time to ask you—to what I don’t know, hold your hand, st eal a kiss, run br eathlessly under the moonlight). One day, he asked me out. I brought friends, there were five of us in the group,” she shared.
“The first stop was a jazz bar (and my Lola said never to go to a jazz bar with a man you should not fall in love with). We then rode in his car, he buckled me in the front seat, he drove. He was quiet, the music was nice. We bought coolers, went to an outdoor space where we could enjoy the cool summer wind and listen to music blasting from the car speakers,” she continues.
To her surprise, he turned into a natural comedian; making them laugh so much.
“He was charming and funny, and was the perfect gentleman, too. All through the night. The most he did that made me blush was stare a little too long and call me beautiful,” she recalled. “That one night, his b
ad boy mystique was broken. Everything was light.”
Some time later, she shared, he admitted he was intimidated by her, “not quite knowing for sure how to be with a lady.”
“Maybe sometimes bad boys have nights off,” she thought; reminiscing that one memorable evening with him.
Such well-written post made social media users feel like they are reading a literary piece. Some, including fellow actress Iza Calzado, hopes she can write a book someday.
