Mango is Pakistan’s national fruit; earning it the moniker “king of fruits”.

According to Arab News, they aren’t just part of Pakistan’s culture; they also serve as instruments of social bonding and diplomatic emissary worthy of being gifted to dignitaries all over the world. Thus, it is not surprising that the Pakistan Supermarket in the United Arab Emirates decided to give the king of fruits a treatment fit for a king.

As featured on Gulf News, the popular supermarket decided to deliver the king of fruits  at their customers’ doorsteps via a  Lamborghini, which is a status symbol of luxury.

In the supermarket’s official Facebook  page, a green Lamborghini was introduced as its new delivery vehicle, for its “Mango in a Lambo” offer, which also aims to put a smile on people’s faces and make them feel special.

Pakistan Supermarket’s managing director Mohammad Jehanzeb delivered the mangoes and also took the customers for a short drive.

He said that since the special offer  began, a lot of people availed  and the 27-year-old managing director revealed they’ve been getting a lot of orders.

“The joy ride was essentially meant for kids who have been sequestered at homes because of the coronavirus but adults are equally thrilled at the the prospect of getting behind the wheels of my Lamborghini Huracán. I am happy to oblige them too,” he said.

They do about 7-8 “Mango in a Lambo” home deliveries a day but they’re hoping to make it 12.

Some of the mango varieties they deliver are Chaunsa , Anwar Ratol , Dasehri and Sindhri and a minimum order of Dh100 is required to avail the offer.
