Megastar Sharon Cuneta has approached the Department of Justice (DOJ) for possible action following the threat against her daughter, Frankie Pangilinan.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra confirmed that Sharon has indeed reached out to him and expressed her “strong desire” to file a complaint against the person who posted the offensive message on social media.

“I advised her that the identity of the person and his location should first be clearly established,” said Guevarra’s text message to reporters.

But apparently, the Justice chief noted, Sharon has already identified the person who posted the malicious post, as well as his location and employer.

“Should Ms. Cuneta proceed to file a criminal complaint with the DOJ, we shall verify the respondent’s identity and address for the purpose of giving him notice,” Guevarra said.

Earlier, an incensed Sharon vowed to go after a certain Sonny Alcos who posted the threat against her daughter on social media.

“I WILL PERSONALLY MAKE SURE THIS KAB***YAN YOU HAVE POSTED TO DISRESPECT MY DAUGHTER IN THIS DESPICABLE, MALICIOUS AND INSIDIOUS WAY WILL BE OF GREAT INTEREST TO THEM,” wrote the Megastar in an Instagram post.

“I. WILL. FIND. YOU. YOU FACE ME, YOU COWARD,” she added. “YOU CROSSED THE LINE. GOD HELP ME AND THE LAW! GOD HELP YOU WHEN I FIND YOU.”

Frankie has been in the spotlight lately following her online exchange with broadcaster Ben Tulfo whom she accused of victim blaming.
