The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has blacklisted the Spanish national involved in a scuffle with police officers in Makati City from entering the country.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said he ordered that Parra’s name be included in the bureau’s blacklist after learning the Spaniard left the country last April 29. He was supposedly allowed to leave the country because there were still no formal charges filed against him back then.

“Now that he has been placed in our Immigration blacklist, he is perpetually banned from reentering the Philippines for being an undesirable alien,” Morente said.

The BI official warned other foreigners “who disrespect our laws and persons of authority” that they will suffer the same fate and do not deserve the privilege to stay in country.

Parra is facing a string of criminal charges including unjust vexation, direct assault, and disobedience to authority, and for not wearing a face mask (a violation of Bayanihan to Heal as One Act) filed by the Makati police.

He was given until May 21 to submit his counter affidavits but BI said the foreigner ignored their notices.

In the video, which has gone viral on social media, Parra was caught cursing and hurling expletives at cops during the altercation.

The police failed to arrest him as he manage to free himself before running back to their house.
