Angelica Panganiban answers interesting relationship questions on her first episode of “Ask Angelica”, an online digital show produced by Star Cinema streamed last Friday, September 25.
Joining her were singer Kean Cipriano and actress Via Antonio. Two of her friends, Kim Chiu and Bella Padilla, were also among her celebrity guests who shared some of their insights.
The episode was entitled “Pag-ibig in Time of Pan
demic” and the first question asked by a netizen was all about online dating if it should be taken seriously.
Angelica advised that she wishes it to be taken seriously but with caution since you can not meet that person at this time.
She added, “Mahirap magtiwala. Kahit walang pan
demic, sobrang hirap magtiwala sa online dating. So paano pa ngayong may pan demic? So kailangan doble or triple talaga yung ingat na gagawin mo para lang talaga hindi siya masaktan.”
Unfortunately, the guy, the female netizen was interacting with on a dating app does not have other social media accounts. Angelica emphasized that social media, though it has a downside, has some benefits as well.
“Makikita mo kasi kung ano din talaga yung routine nung tao. Kahit nagpre-pretend lang siya na kunyari surfer pero at least nag-try mag surf. At least alam mong tao siya. Dapat kasi tao siya,” she said.
Angelica also answered a question on how she lives up to loving herself.
“Responsibility mo na pasayahin ang sarili mo. Hindi yung ibang tao. Kapag na-achieve mo yun, kaya mo magbigay ng happiness sa friends mo, sa family mo and sa matatagpuan mong tao para sayo. Hindi mo magagawa yun kapag hindi ka buo. Process iyan, eh,” she said.
Wrapping up, she highlighted that the most important relationships in life are with family and friends citing Kim and Bella as an example who helped her survive being single for three years.
“Ask Angelica” can be viewed on the social media accounts of ABS-CBN Films (Star Cinema and Black Sheep), the YouTube channels of Sinehub and MyChos, during the Kapamilya Online Live streams, and the streaming platform Kumu. It can also be heard on major podcast apps.
