Get ready for an online sitcom! Tee radio launches the Philippines' first ever online sitcom! Tee Radio, a radio station available online, will launch its first ever social media sitcom, "Barangay TeeGang," in September.
The purpose of this comedic show is to highlight the Philippine comedy culture inspired by 90's TV hits and bring joy to its growing 6 million followers.
The show centers on the friendship of three friends, Jeff, Rhodman, and Kurt, who are forced to move to a new apartment. A culinary student named Jeff, a college varsity player named Rhodman, and a musician named Kurt are about to embark on a journey of daily challenges in their new neighborhood and its residents. They will encounter their landlady Tita Malou, who has twins named Jingle and Jinky, and their helper Yaya Nene.
They will also meet the entertaining Don Roman, the local gambling boss, who is accompanied by his bodyguards Brando and Jumbo, and the intimidating Bogart, the local bully. The local barangay captain, Kap, and his trustworthy tanod, Johnson, are also part of the cast.
The story focuses on Jeff's kindness, Kurt's awkwardness, and Rhodman's comic relief, and they will also experience love with the introduction of the girls, Princess, Marie, Vienna, and Felicity. They will all face adventures and misadventures in the wild and unpredictable neighborhood of Teegang.

The show is directed by Tracy Thunder (Jamieson Tracy Lee) who shares the vision of bringing comedy back to the airwaves through social media.
Barangay TeeGang is an original production by Tee Radio Media Entertainment and Brainhouse Film Production, and Tee Radio CEO and President Louie Mark Kempis believe it will start a trend of online shows that will generate more public interest and engagement. The show's creator, CJ Santos, is optimistic about its success, citing the lack of similar shows on social media as a positive factor.
