They finally got married early this year. The wedding was set for July 8, which was supposed to be Rowden's 30th birthday.
But the couple had to say their vows sooner than they had planned. Rowden was told he had stage IV liver cancer at the end of May this year. Rowden knew he didn't have much time left, so he asked to move the wedding date up.
Rowden and Liezel's family and friends gave the groom his last wish: to marry his one true love. They did all this in just 12 hours.
They took the church to where Rowden was staying in the hospital. The pair had only been married for 10 hours when Rowden suddenly passed away, leaving behind his wife Leizel and their daughter Zakiah Rowzel, then age 2.

According to the video's caption, the groom, 29-year-old Rowden Go Pangcoga, was diagnosed with stage IV cancer only this May. Rowden and Leizl's fate was turned upside down when they decided to marry on July 8, 2014, Rowden's birthday. Due to the Rowdens' terrible predicament, their wedding ceremony was rescheduled for June 11, 2014.
The hospital room where the wedding was held was filled with cries of pleasure since the groom's last wish had come true, much like in a terrible fairytale. Rowden died less than ten hours after saying his vows.
Despite his untimely demise, Rowden was able to leave a legacy to his wife Leizel in the form of their adorable 2-year-old daughter. Rowden's family and friends are grateful to God Almighty for allowing them enough time to give Rowden what he desired and show him how much he was loved.
